Free Grinn MP3s

Are we good to you or what?

You can now get both current Grinn albums entirely free as MP3 downloads from Last.Fm.

Get 2nd album Bubblegum and Machine guns here.

Get 1st album Grinnstitutionalized by clicking here.

Last.FM is a fantastic online music service not only does it provide online radio stations which you can customize to your tastes but it also offers a plug-in for your desk-top media player (iTunes, WinAmp, WMP etc, etc) which allows you to keep a record of all the songs you have listened to. For example my statistics look like this.

I seriously recommend you sign-up for an account - its free and very entertaining and useful for discovering new great music.

While you're at it you might like to check out Sleevenotez.com - this services works with your Last.FM account to provide copious amounts of information about the artists and tracks you are currently listening to, as well as an excellent look-up facility.

Enjoy!

Booking Gigs

For the last few days I've been spending much of my time phoning and email people trying to arrange a string of Grinn gigs - yes at long last we have got our act together and are getting back on the road.

Its been a while and I keep coming up against small issues like venues or promoters we have worked with before which are no longer in business, but thankfully people still remember us and are keen to have us play.

I've also been meeting some nice new venues and promoter type people, which is always nice. Its just a matter of coordinating dates into some sensible order now.

Stay tuned.

More Songs

It would seem that making the decision to concentrate on a mini-album is working well! Not only are the 6 new tracks coming on but we managed to slip a new one into rehearsal today which should knock into shape quite well.

The new track is provisionally entitled "Do what you want" and is a little riff-tastic punk and roll number. At this stage its not clear whether we will add this to the recording session, but it will definitely make it into the live set.
