Release me!

Well, things keep a changing in regards to what we are going to release next.

A while back we were talking about a double album, then a new album as the three piece. The plan as of now is to record and release an EP/mini-album sometime within the next few months through Monty Dogg records.

So why the change?

Basicaly we want to get back out and about. We have a very strong set of songs right now and are keen to get the new 3 piece line-up heard as soon as possible. We are in pre-production now and I'm going to make the phone call to suss out studio time in the next day or two.

The track listing will be:

1. Dog Star
2. My wicked other self
3. Ordinary day
4. Rip it up
5. Don't let go
6. The trouble with Johnny

We'll be showcasing all these songs at our upcomming gigs with the new stuff forming the core of the live set.

New Year, New Look (to the Webby)

So, the old web site has worked well for us over the last few years but was starting to look a bit tiered so I've just killed it and from now on we'll base everything around the blog - that's the best way of keeping everything up to date anyway.

So, as part of this I also killed the old message board, but we still value you feedback and would encourage you to use the commenting functions of the blog to carry on discussions.

We're back baby

Something clicked at practice last week and all of a suddenly the new 3piece Grinn really started cooking. The sound is a little more sleazy rock and roll like than before with a few dark wrinkles thrown in, but its all sounding damned fine!

And, we've got our first gig lined up. Courtesy of the mighty fine Liquidhead, who have also just reemerged after a line up tweak we are proud to join the bill at cancer charity fund raiser at The Royal Park Cellars in Leeds on 23rd March.

We really can;t wait to showcase the new line up, new material and of course support a worthy cause.
